The Cove

I publish this temporary website occasionally if there is an event at the The Cove, in case it is of interest to anyone visiting.  

We moved to The Cove in the winter of 2016/2017.  There was a great deal of groundwork required and, with the bulk of the garden being a featureless strip of field, planting hedging and developing structure was the highest priority.  There is more information about this initial structural and hedging work on the 2017 to 2022 page.

After something of a hiatus during 2023 and 2024, planting recently has mostly been focused on trees.  Several rare or unusual trees have been planted this year.  See the 2026 page for more.
